I think the panic is you didn’t want to lose today as having to play UConn in the elimination game then have to beat Xavier 2x would have been quite difficult.

Yeah now we have Burke who hasn’t pitched. Dom could come back. Magers might have more. Also Curtin, Unga, and Klein. And auk and Langrell could come back after two days rest.

Ed said last night that he was going to sell-out to win tonight. So, everyone but Dom and Langrell.

Good news is that you will rebuild some arms for Saturday, now. Not sure if any of the starters can go, but your entire bullpen is intact, plus Burke.

That USC slide to beat the tag at home and walk off Wash in a meaningless B10 tournament game just now may not be great news for us, if we end up needing an at-large. They're 43 in the RPI before winning today. The Big Ten tournament format is dumb and weird, but this game may end up mattering. If not for us, then somebody who could be on the bubble.

I think USC would have gotten in anyway. D1 baseball still has 3 big east teams in as of today.

27 - 8. (Maybe you remembered all this time, but I had to look it up). After beating them 3 out of 4 earlier. Creighton surrendered 25 hits, eight walks, and 4 HBPs. And if you think you want revenge, well, Dom started that game. Couldn't get out of the second inning. Took the loss.

Yeah, a 14-inning slugfest today would be nice, with empty bullpens at the end. And then, after 14 inn with the score still tied, a rain delay. A really long rain delay. And then, they have to finish in the morning. Early in the morning. Like sunup. And then four more innings after that.
