Has anyone ever been to Butler’s field, and I use the word “field” instead of “stadium” intentionally? I have, and it’s horrible, worse than most Class A high school fields.

I struggle getting these numbers correct, but I have our magic number at 5, as long as we win 1 against Xavier

Magic # for Prasco? Or at large?

The Jays’ magic # to make Prasco is now 1. That is, 1 Jays win vs Xavier or Georgetown, or 1 loss by Seton Hall to Villanova or Georgetown.

The only way to miss Prasco for a third straight year would be if Creighton is swept by Xavier and Georgetown, combined with a Hall sweep of both Georgetown and Nova.

Even in that unlikely scenario, the Jays could still get in, if St John’s failed to win at least 4 games over Nova and Butler.

So it’s looking good!

Imo a 99% chance of going to Prasco and 0% chance of an at-large NCAAT bid.

There is no such thing as a magic number for an at large bid.

Yeah, it's 5. Five gets us at least a tie for the top and we have the tie-breaker against Yukon. But that may not be such an easy thing.

UConn only has Butler left, at home. They should pound those guys. A non-sweep would be a shock. That'd mean the Jays would need 5 Ws combined against X and then at Gtown. If the Jays stumble just twice, Connecticut likely wins the BE.

But Xavier only has Creighton left on their conf sked. They could still catch us and pass us too. If they sweep us (it happened at home two years ago), then we finish behind them. Jays beat 'em twice, we get a higher seed, regardless of what happens at Georgetown. So, an undisputed league title is there for the taking. But JayPak's right, missing the tournament altogether is still possible too, in theory. Need one more win, or one StJ or SH loss,
