My Dad pointed out that Wendt has now had two saves in a row and two solid outings in a row. He is throwing some heat. He’s also confident. He threw 2 innings tonight. Huge to have both him and Langrell at the back of the bullpen.

Jays win. 3 to 2 walk off in the 12th. Jays sit one game back of UConn who beat St. John’s twice. However the jays hold the tiebreaker over UConn. Capece hit a double to start the 12th and then Hess singled home Venti who pinch ran. dom was solid in his start.
