2nd L in the class behind Choboy and she was #19 overall, which was one spot behind Eloise Brandewie. I saw another VT post a couple days ago that Saige has made her decision (based off a tiktok she was in) so there should be news soon. Hopefully the same goes for Maeder.

Volleyball mag AA teams. Everything for Creighton was the same as AVCA AA except Maddy was on third team here and they mentioned Kendra received 2nd and/or 3rd place votes for Volleyball mag POY.

Maddy finished the year as a top 5 passer among players on RPI top 150 teams.

Possible. Rumor mill also throws out the name of Faith Frame, Cincinnati libero who prepped at Papillion LV. Either would be more than fine.

Faith is friends with Booth’s daughter and Alivia Hausmann, I believe.

It's Damrow. She just posted on instagram.

3 years of eligibility is really nice. I find her interesting. Wisconsin started the season using the two libero season (they were using Saige to pass and the other libero for defense). Saige passed kinda poorly in those matches and ended up spending most of the rest of the year on the bench until late in the season when Wisconsin had both their libero and DS out at the same time with injuries. Saige played libero again for those matches (I think this included matches v UCLA, Minnesota, and Nebraska) and she played pretty well in all those matches and I think some Wisconsin fans wanted her to stay in the rotation when the other players got healthy again.

It seems like our last big need in the portal is a setter. Our only setters as of today are current freshman Emersen Strain and Omaha Transfer Ivy Leuck.

Leuck is an interesting commit. Doesn't fit the mold for what Booth has done at the setter position since, like, 2011. Seems like KBB prefers a taller setter who can be a block threat at the net, a role for which Strain (at least physically) is built.

Obviously Kendra Waits don't grow on trees. Could be looking at a true "recreate [her] in the aggregate" situation.

I remember someone asked KBB why her daughter didn't go to CU, and KBB said something to the effect that she likes taller setters. The last time we rotated two setters was in the COVID year when we had Van Ekeren and Pua'a.
