We have two really good outsides, and two middles assuming Johnson switches to middle, and a couple experienced defenders. Cupboard is definitely not bare.

This was the only elite eight game that went to 5 sets and sets 2, 3, and 4 were all great. Just needed two plays to turn out differently in the third set and they would have been through.

Penn State had better execution and play in sets 1 and 5 and way more composure in clutch time across the board. GG and amazing season.

Anyone have insight into who the setter will be? Someone on the bench? Transfer? That’s super important.

This years team was awesome and probably should've been a #1 seed. Get rid of home court regionals.

Was it just me or was the Penn St arena not close to full? Like by a lot. Empty in the end zones. I saw it seats 6400. Any idea what the tv ratings for the sport are?

I thought that was strange but then I believe they said that the weather and roads were terrible outside so that kept a lot of people away.

Amazing that we could have/should have won that in four but yet Norah Sis had a really poor game. Went to five at Penn State without our "A" game. Just a really great team.

I think Destiny Ndam-Simpson is capable of replacing Sis, and Ava is a force. Our middle position should be very solid too. The key will be who replaces Waitt. She was a 4-year starter and so effective and smart. Replacing Maddy B. at libero will be important too. Hopefully we can land some quality portal additions like we did last year.

State College is in the middle of nowhere.

There has been talk that the football playoff game being there has kept their secondary market down because of travel.

Agree that NCAA should have regionals at neutral locations in real markets. If you want to grow VBall, that is the way.

Awesome season by Booth and girls.

Pretty much every sport, except Men's basketball, has home regionals/tournament play. So, I can't complain about having to go on the road. I will say that I thought we were better than Penn State all year. My opinion hasn't changed. As Freddy said, we took Penn State to 5 sets in their gym with our best hitter hitting .000 on 33 swings.

Lots of pieces returning, Middles and outsides should be okay. Losing Norah as a 6 rotation players hurts, as we will see if Des or a portal addition can step up to match with Ava. Setter position is key. I'm confident that Kirsten will be able to find options there and at libero.

Kiara, Kendra, Norah, and Sydney were named academic all-district. Kendra and Norah are finalists for academic AA teams which will be announced on January 14th.

AVCA AA teams will be announced tomorrow. Will hopefully be the first time ever Creightons gets player(s) on the 1st or 2nd team. I would be pretty suprised if Kendra falls below 2nd team.
