Mac did a great job giving us a chance for a win last night. Green was rewarded with 26 minutes coming off the bench by his very productive play. Whether Green starts or not, he will get his minutes from here on out. You don't always start your best 5 players but your best 5 will usually get the most minutes. Green was 4th on the team in minutes last night. I love this team.

Ash has been fantastic running the show but It's hard to win when you're down to one guard ready for prime time.

Green adds something that Mason doesn’t have because he can post up and score. After a slow start to the year, glad that Jasen is earning his minutes again and looks like he will play a big role.

Green had by far the best plus minus on the team. Zero rebounds in a combined 40+ minutes from Jackson and Miller might be a bit of a statistical anomaly but we can’t let that happen again. Green had 5 rebounds. He has good instincts for the ball.

Green is our most athletic big which is what we need in general and our best choice at the 3 given our current roster limitations.

Miller/Traudt's job is simple , get boards and allow for spacing by hitting the three ball. Neither is doing that now especially against good competition, both should be riding the pine at this point. Traudt can get an occasional defensive rebound, but Miller is off this year in all aspects. Play Green and Jackson 35 minutes a game and see what happens. Basically against good competition the only guys that should see the floor are Ash, Neal, Kalk, Green, and Jackson. Maybe let Traudt fill in for Green and Jackson on occasion, but situational minutes. Thomas is good for 5 minutes a game, he can play D and King 5 minutes a game. In a nutshell, we have no bench at this point and Green should start.

Maybe, Miller is still recovering from an injury and will improve.

Traudt had 3 rebounds a steal and an assist. He was plus one in 15 minutes. He played pretty solid defense except for one play where their All American point guard took him to school but not much shame in that.

Traudt only took 2 shots and missed them but overall had an acceptable game IMHO.

Agreed Traudt was much better than Miller. Miller is basically us playing 4 on 5 on both sides of the court. I thought Traudt played good D on Nelson.

Miller is the same player he was the day he first set foot on campus. There is nothing more there. His minutes should go elsewhere. I’m not as down on Traudt as some but when he gets switched onto a guard a bucket is coming for the bad guys.
I don’t vet ‘em, I just post ‘em.

Traudt is 7-11 from 3 in the last 4 games against what I would consider good competition. I guess I am confused by your comment on Traudt. I know it is a small sample size, but you did say neither is doing that now, which Traudt clearly is.
