I love the fact that Creighton recruits against the blue bloods.
It sure beats the heck out of going against mid majors.
You get nowhere if you don't reach for it.

uh oh. The dreaded "UNC offer". Well, that's that. Time to move on...and I'll try not to be snarky with my comments.

Roy is on his way out. I'm not worried about UNC.

Dean Smith retired at age 66. Old Roy will turn 70 on August 1. Roy is 4 years past retirement.

He might be done before then

He just signed the #3 overall class and beat the Jays for a priority recruit. Carolina is still Carolina.

Hunter’s not staying in state. Hopefully we keep a good relationship in case things don’t work out wherever he goes.

Hubert Davis will take over at NC. I remember Hubert from his ESPN Days. He said the Jays and Booker Woodfox couldn’t pass the “Eye Test” for an at large bid......

He is the lead guy for Hunter’s recruitment at Chapel Hill

I don’t think Carolina can pass an eye test now because when you look at them, you see Hubert Davis

It's working just fine and CU has signed 2 studs this year with many more coming over the next 2 years.
A slight bump in the road at the moment but I am not concerned. Players leaving early is the price you pay for being ranked in the top 5. In the long run, I see nothing wrong with players leaving early to play pro ball for money.

I say it’s still selfish! They also have some debt on their part in loyalty owed to the coach, team, and fans who have screamed their brains out supporting them as well as paying considerable money to pulling for them. You might consider it a fan quid pro quo. The can always get better with another year as well as help the team to greater heights and earn multiple individual accolades!
