Just about every school in the nation besides Duke and Kentucky wanted and offered Ryan but Creighton ends up signing him.
I would like to thank Huss and Mac for the outstanding job they did in recruiting the highest rated player ever by 247sports to sign with Creighton. 247sports wasn't around when we signed Benoit.

Ryan's a huge signing for us in a lot of ways. Not only can we point to him for recruiting for 2020 and 2021 (who doesn't want to play D with a shot swatter like him behind them?), and he solidifies our center situation for quite some time.

Still want a mid year transfer in the post for this year, though

With the signing of Kalkbrenner, Creighton will have 6 of their top 11 recruits signed since 2000 on the 2020 roster. Recruiting is going along just fine but the next 6 recruits signed over these next 2 years are highly important.

Very cool and good for him. I know they are just highlight videos but he is exciting to watch. Very smooth relative to a lot of 7 footers at his age at least from my vantage point. Also dunks the damn ball. Which drives me NUTS when bigs don't do that. One can only hope that the Epperson/Kalkbrenner/Z combination will be as potent or more so then Mo/JP a few years ago. One would think with Z's ability to score and finish on his own that that would be the case. Throw in our plethora of potent off-guards and shooters and .
