Villanova Game Thread

Here's the Pregame Primer over on WBR for tomorrow's game with Villanova, and the nation's leading scorer in Eric Dixon (25.7 points per game). They've struggled to guard him his entire career and now Dixon is a significantly better three-point shooter than years' past. It's going to be a challenge.

Feels like a must-win -- the Jays are listed as KenPom underdogs in each of the next three (St. John's, at Marquette, and at Butler in a dreaded Hinkle day game). If they're entering that stretch at 0-2 in the league...yikes.

I’m seeing CU as 4.5 point favorites. Is that right?

Yes we are 4.5 point favorites. Moneyline -205
An important game to get back on track at home. Need some players to step and play like they are capable of playing. I would play Kalk and King together for 3 reasons:
Dixon will take his defender to the 3 and he needs to be guarded there and someone needs to rebound. Also Kalk doesnt foul out easily and King needs minutes.
If we are lucky enough to get to March Madness and want to survive we need underachievers playing with confidence.

Best news in a while! Hope he fills that gaping hole that Pop's injury left.

I'm tempering my expectations for Freedor as I do for every newbie. I'm just hoping he can bring a spark to the team after that abysmal performance Wednesday.

That’s the rational approach. I am having a fight between my rational self and my emotional self. Rational is losing.
