Not to mention, his medical history. I think they were just about to discuss the results of the second MRI on his ankle in 2004, when the damn game interrupted. So now, it’s like some cliffhanger and we gotta get to the bottom of it.

Tried to explain some of the way seeding works to my son and just quit as I saw more and more names announced.

I understand the BE bias and how we don’t get some respect/recognition there (we’re Midwest, former mid-major, not the “real” BE anymore, they don’t even know where we’re from, some of it is fanbase to fanbase hate, etc.) but I ask this question in all seriousness: Do we consistently get F’ed as much as I think we do or am I just a homer? I feel like the better we do, the worse it gets. Honestly, did we do something?

Side note*: Anyone else see how nonchalantly Pitino mentioned he thought the bus being pulled over by a cop (when he was coaching Providence, during the Red Storm Rising documentary) was because he figured someone on the committee was tipping him off of their slot? Said it like it was no big deal….and that was way back in the day. I don’t think I want to even know the stuff he wouldn’t admit to or the stuff that happens now.
* Horrible part of the documentary with him recalling the day his son died. I am not disrespecting that aspect of his life or the documentary.

11:15 central. Not much time to come up with a good excuse to get out of work!

Could be one of the most watched games of the entire tourney. The whole country will be watching just this game at least til half and probably well past that (Purdue-High Point is next up). Sportsbooks from coast to coast will be showing Jays--Lville wall to wall.

Color me confused (not hard to do). What did the good folks at OWH have to say? Was it Snacks Mckewons’ article about unl?

Yeah they moved it down but for awhile after the bracket release that was the headline story. Jays men and women in, UNO first time ever, husker women in the field, but lets talk about husker football and men's basketball!

We won two road games against Uconn which didn't mean shit to the committee apparently. Though the committee head was UNC's ad, which might have had something to do with it. Would have been better off losing to DePaul; at least we would have a better draw as a 10. The team deserved better. Just hoping we can beat Louisville in a road environment and get a crack at Auburn.

Makes me wonder what someone from Creighton did to someone on the committee in the past -

this may be the worst job of seeding I've seen

Sucks we have to play near their home and play a relatively tough team to open, but this starts the quick evaluation of whether or not the BE is underrated this year and whether or not the ACC is riding their past fame more than anything else these days (see NC)

While this is a brutal way to start the tourney with a lot of risk, it's also a seeding that could vault us into a deep run in this tournament as well. Risk and opportunity both here
