I am expecting a relatively close game. My memory tells me that we have rarely shot well as a team in MSG. Of course those with all the stats at hand might prove me wrong. Combined with our penchant to turn the ball over (27 in two games against DePaul), if DePaul shoots like they did against us in Omaha, could be single digits game, where a couple of plays here or there could make it quite uncomfortable. On the other hand, DePaul's start in Omaha might help the fellas get a little more dialed in defensively from the get go. Key will be getting Kalkbrenner a lot of touches early, IMO - and Kalkbrenner not having a game where he misses a lot of bunnies and doesn't make his freethrows. Fortunately, those games have been few and far between.

I'm sure it'll be a war and stressful with some runs by each team. That's 2024-25 Creighton basketball.

I also don't like hearing that we've won 22 straight against them -- streaks like that have to end at some point.

Hopefully Kalk not getting POY actually motivates him and the guys and he avoids the POY jinx.

Really, really, really would love to be in NY today. Thursday at the BE tourney is always special. But this one -- X/Marquette, Jays, UConn/Nova. Man, that's some incredible basketball to be on hand for.

Not really any upside to playing G-Town. They've already smoked us once, beating them isn't going to do anything to our seed. Would rather take the easier match up.

DePaul swept Georgetown this year, and Georgetown now is a vastly different team without Sorber than they were when they "smoked us" once. Not so sure you can clearly and confidently declare DePaul the "easier match up."

Thanking X needs to win in order for BE to get 5 in the tournament. Might hurt Marquette's seeding, but I don't really care about them. Maybe they are as good as in, but I have seen some brackets that have them on the bubble.
