Green made some boneheaded mistakes, but his defense on Dixon was very good and got a nice heads up time out.

As a team, no good from three; horrible from the line; too many turnovers, but our boys did out score them on the road.

Gotta win the ugly ones too.

I think we deserved that blown timeout call because of how much we had been hosed by the refs, from the lousy 2nd foul on Ashworth to the flops and many uncalled push-offs and body contact. Just a bad officiated game that affected both teams in many ways. Need to play much better to leave Providence with a win on Wednesday. Couldnt hit free throws or threes and had many bad turnovers but still somehow won.

Definitely want to play much better. But think this Nova team is better and a worse matchup for us than Providence is. Certainly won’t be easy before an absolutely brutal three game stretch that follows.

Maybe. We tend to win more at Nova, not sure but it feels like we have not won a game in Providence in like 5 years. Tough stretch for sure but it helps that arguably the toughest two are at home though St. Johns will be a war as well in Queens.

I seem to remember Providence (or some BE team) beat Creighton at home on a banked 3 late in the game (but not quite as late as Ashworth's). Maybe 8-10 years ago. Anybody remember that?

Wasn’t a bank but freaking Dixon hit a corner three to steal one in Omaha at the very end last year.

Can’t forget Kris Dunn hitting a heel of the rim clunker buzzer beater in Omaha.

Do they Jays ever win at Providence? I hate that place. The good news is you rarely see teams shoot super hot or super cold 2 games in a row so I'm hoping that holds true Wednesday.

Since joining the Big East, we've won in Providence 3 times...Jan 2021, Dec 2018, and Jan 2017

And lost eight times...boys better be ready...

Prior to the Big East, the Jays were 1-4 in Providence

If Doc doesn't give his prestigious "player of the game" to the backboard, I'm calling BS.
