My sense is we'll continue to see them use the back end of the roster for practice players rather than recruiting 15 guys who all expect to play and want to get paid. They can give scholarships to those guys as they see fit (like for Shane, whereas JTT doesn't need one). But they didn't have that process fully fleshed out yet when I asked about it.

Keeping Jackson, Green, Pop, and Fedor out the portal is priority one. Priority two is getting a couple of big bodies that can match up against the Auburn's of the world and a difference maker out on the wing with some length. Go Jays!!

I want King to stay. His play back when Kalk missed some games a couple years ago was much better than his time this year. Maybe he just needs more minutes to excel on the court.

If King is our starting 5, we are in for a long season. He is an inconsistently serviceable backup, not a starting Big East center.

Those are the 4 that are the core. Pop obviously has injury issues so we’ll see how the staff handles that. Nobody else on the roster is off limits in this new era.
