Looked like McDermott told Fedor to shoot the ball every possession during the last few minutes. It was good to see.

During postgame radio interview, Mac said that he told Fedor "these last 3 minutes are incredibly important for you right now" and that he told Fedor to do whatever he could to attack and get comfortable within the offense.

If Fedor can hit those 10-15 footers consistently, and given that Neal also seems to be pretty good most games in that same range when he takes them, then in games where Traudt, Miller and/or McAndrew are hitting from three along with Ashworth and Kalkbrenner doing their thing, we can put a lot of pressure on defenses from all three levels like the last 12 minutes last night.

There are still going to be games where we shoot poorly from three. I know it was just one game where Traudt and Miller both made their shots, but hopefully going forward shooting poorly from three means 33-36% and not 15-25% as a team --- and on those days, we will really need Neal and Fedor to hit those intermediate shots.

good coaching by Mac. He also said that for the team to reach their ceiling they need Mason to play at his capable level and for Fedor to catch up

Here's the Morning After recap with analysis, quotes, highlights, key stats and more:

Also: can I say how great it is that Kalk keeps referring to Ashworth as "Steve-O" in press conferences now? It's exactly the kind of nickname you'd expect Kalk to give someone, and it fits Ashworth so well.

Kalk is so unintentionally funny.

He makes vanilla look spicy.

If you watch the player intros before game, all the guys have little dances or crazy high five kind of greetings and they're really fun to watch.

Kalk just saunters on out there. Doesn't have any interest or time for that stuff.
