Did we offer him? He's not showing up on verbal commits either.

hmmm... I honestly did not know we were even recruiting Wade, either. I'm a bit puzzled, as we seem to not be recruiting similar players in Cody Schwartz and Alex Illikainen anymore. Anyone have any insight here?

Are we just a dream school that people want to come and visit even though we aren't recruiting him?

I've read in a few places he is super underrated currently and is bound for a big jump, sounds exactly like what we go for.

I don't think that's the case, although clearly Creighton's become a much more attractive destination thanks to all of Doug's success, the conference change, and the new practice facility. It's obvious that our recruiting targets have shifted a bit since late Spring or even Joey's last recruiting update, and it means relatively little that we haven't heard much about Creighton and a player like Wade. Also, look at the lists or planned visits for each of the guys who has included Creighton in his final list and/or said that they plan on visiting Creighton. From what I've seen, the other schools are all mediocre to really good high majors and really good mid majors like Wichita, Davidson, and Harvard. And like HDMD said, Wade and a couple other names who have surfaced in recent weeks look poised to receive a boost from the guys who rate these players for a living.
