I think he also has a long sleeve shirt. You get a free headband!

Great? What part is great, the free headband? Is this the same guy who had Trey’s wristband “deal”?

Seriously, Trifecta, what’s Baylor’s NIL deal?!?

If it’s true that they are pooling all of the NIL money, I would think the team would be happy with the addition of BS. And yes it looked like the wristband situation was a complete abortion for Trey and his supporters.

I'm pretty sure they all pool their money so they get equal amounts. But they're also allowed to get side deals for NIL also. Like when Trey got his B-Dub endorsement.

I'd assume this headband t-shirt thing is probably Baylor's side hustle.

The reality is that pretty much nobody outside of the program is going to know what someone's individual NIL deals might be or look like or exactly how it is all being handled unless someone inside the program comes out and tells everyone.

If they all pool their money so that it can be distributed equally, cool. If that's the case, it wouldn't really make sense to say that they can also have their own deals that aren't pooled -- that means that they aren't actually pooling their money so that it can be distributed equally. If they are all o.k. with people getting their own deals and not concerned with what anyone else is getting, cool. And if they do pool all their money, does it truly get equally divided -- like to the walkons, too? If they've managed to create a culture where we can get guys the level of R2, Trey, Art, Kalk, Headband Warrior to come here and put whatever NIL deals they can get, regardless of size, into a community pool that is divided evenly with everyone from top star to walkon practice team player, that's incredible.

Is this sweatshirt / handband thing "great"? I don't know. I think the design is cheesy as heck. But that just means I wouldn't buy one. If someone else does and he gets something out of it, or the team does because whatever is made gets pooled, then that is definitely "great." Is it on par with Michael Jordan's shoe deal with Nike? No. But that doesn't mean I'm going to say it's terrible or call it an a***tion.

That’s surprising that it would be hidden… isn’t that the whole point of paying these guys, for marketing purposes? If Ty Ty had won UK an NC I imagine that Porsche dealership would be selling more Cayennes and Boxsters in their history. I wasn’t a BDubs fan in the past but now I’d be more than happy to go in and have a dozen nuclear wings and a few icy cold ones as thanks for helping out my man Tricky Trey. Btw Son ‘O Frank I was going to buy a wristband until it was exposed on here that the band never came. I would be glad to buy one of those Ts but I will wait to make sure Baylor doesn’t sta in the draft first as well as maybe watching him in action in the CHI first.

My question about “gear” is, is the CU bookstore and other licensed Jays gear outfitters smart enough to market official jerseys with all our starters available and give a percentage yo the player for his or her jersey and also promote that aspect, which I think would be an extra reason for people yo want to buy one, right? I know me and thousands of other people bought 3 jerseys, I would have been happy knowing Dougie was getting a cut… and we had several great players post McBuckets (Patton, Taz, Ty-Shon) and their jerseys were nowhere to be found (online at least, I live far from Omaha)… hell I’d pay even more for autographed jerseys.

I’m not a great business man but I know we got a lot of well heeled jays supporters on here so if anyone wants to talk biz opportunities (signed bobble heads and such) PM me and maybe we can do something through the BJ cafe or this site.

I would guess that Mike Miller's Let It Fly in Omaha is going to be a major NIL contributor. Haven't heard when it's supposed to open, only that it would be in the Capitol District.

Hopefully they will have better food than DJs and Addy’s. Nevertheless, I will patronize the place over these two due to the CU connection!
