I wonder how NIL impacts recruits and their likelihood of staying closer to home. Wouldn't you figure that a highly-ranked local player at a place like Creighton (or even Nebraska) would be able to capitalize on NIL much more than if he went to a blueblood school (or Virginia) and become another out-of-stater on a team of high-ranked players?

It feels like there'd be more opportunities and more enthusiastic audiences. I have no proof of any of this, just some thoughts. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe it's a reach. Anybody agree or disagree?
