2014 SG Roderick Lawerence (Ole Miss Commit)

Creighton is picking up interest in South Plains College's Rod Lawerence. Lawerence is from Orlando Florida and one of the top 2 players on South Plains which is currently rated as the #1 team in the nation.

Lawerence is averaging 13 & 5, and shooting 34% from 3. The 6'4'' guard has a strong offensive game but known for his willingness to battle in the trenches and his tough-nosed style of play.

That doesn't really make sense unless they think he can be a PG. We have enough SG. We need a PG and a PF.

Don't shoot the messenger boys! I love my Jays, but I'm just going off some info that I got. I hope it's wrong, and there is no way to know for sure. I'm just enjoying this special team, because "next year" is a long ways away.

Apparently we've offered. Digging deeper, apparently he was dismissed from Miami (OH) U last year for some type of misconduct? JUCO numbers not too great. Trust the coaches I guess .
