Creighton going hard after 2013 Penn State 6'4'' transfer Jermaine Marshall. Marshall is eligible immediately and would have one year left to play.
Jermaine avg: 15.3ppg - 4.6rpg - 2.4apg.
He was thinking about going Pro, but decided to return to college but transfer from Penn State.

i'm surprised this is the only kid in that mold.
very interesting. would love to see this happen as it would be an interesting piece to add for inaugural BE season.

Perfect set up to have Marshall play immediately at the wing but allow recruiting to stay open for a high quality HS player.
Jermaine had really nice production in the Big 10.
http://www.gopsusports.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/jermaine_marshall_475958.htmlIMO this would be better than having Coleman on scholarship for 3 years. This would also give Harris more of an option to redshirt if needed.
Do we know who else is courting him?
Any chance for a visit in the near future?

Agreed. Hilltop, do you know what other schools are going after him hard, and/or who he's interested in?

It's agreed he will be highly sought after. In large part because I believe he would be the highest scoring returning starter in the Big 10 if he went back to PSU. The only team I've seen in connection with him so far is Maryland.

Jeff Goodman has him in the top 5 fifth year guys still available.
http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/jeff-go ... ng-targets3. Jermaine Marshall
Old school: Penn State Nittany Lions
Marshall was all set to go overseas, but now the Nittany Lions' second-leading scorer is leaning toward spending another season in college. He can score, and has attracted the attention of plenty of big-time programs who have a scholarship and are in need of a backcourt scorer.

I've gotta admit, it is hard not to salivate at those stats. The fact that he may be able to play the three also is pretty appealing as well, since that would appear to be our biggest hole going into next year.

This would be a huge get. Someone of his caliber available this late to fill a big hole we have at the 2 and 3 guard spots. Immediate playing time w/an All-American Jermaine!

Has he indicated any interest in CU?
