Creighton took a good hard look at the sharp shooting guard from Norfolk. Alas, he has committed to UNO. Jalen could really succeed there.

We wanted him to walk on and he wanted a ride.

UNL has said they won't play UNO. Will Creighton?

Probably not until they are tourney eligible. '15-16 season?

Don't see why not considering some of the pay-for-play we do.

I am willing to bet money right now that UNO wins an NCAA tournament game before UNL.

Well I don't know about winning...but I have been saying all along that I would bet on UNO making the NCAA Tourney before UNL.

A good decision by Jalen. He'll get a ride and plenty of playing time. Plus a chance to stay close to home.

It wouldn't shock me either to see UNO make the NCAA Tournament in 5 years. Going to be cool having two D1 basketball programs in Omaha.

God I'm glad he isn't going to end up at Creighton. I don't think I could pull myself to root for that whiny kid.

Why wouldn't it be? I know it won't be the level that Cincinnati and Xavier are at but one day it could turn into something and really help basketball in Omaha.
