Good point. Where was that? OWH or gocreighton.com? That's odd. It would have been nice to play K-State. They just beat somebody good the other day. Hopefully we can get it rescheduled. Not looking good for getting Friday's game against UC Davis in. But Saturday and Sunday look promising. Hopefully we will play a double header Saturday. UC Davis is 8-4 by the way. So, it'll be tough. They had a good record last year too, I believe. And they're in a solid conference. K-State would boost our RPI and SOS down the road, if we can get that rescheduled.

Fair enough. But I wasn't referring to that game. I would never call Nebraska baseball good; Creighton actually still has more CWS wins than Nebraska all-time. K-State did beat #5 Arkansas, Michigan, and TCU so far. They have losses to Coastal Carolina (2), Washington, and #9 North Carolina.

Actually, UNC is #6. K-State also lost to #2 LSU in 10 innings and beat Sam Houston St. So I do hope we get this game rescheduled, because it could be a solid opportunity for a quality win and would help our strength of schedule. But I agree with you that Nebraska doesn't qualify as a quality win for K-State.

Opening Day/Weekend is here! Looking like bad weather for tomorrow, so hopefully we can get the game in or it'll be moved to Saturday. I hope we can do a DH Saturday and get the Sunday one in too. I'll post some pre-game analysis of our opponent tomorrow. UC-Davis is 8-4 and is tough. Gonna be a good test. Jays just tied it at 3. Bottom 6. Nolan Sailors has 3 hits. Wilson pitched well. Aukerman has been strong in relief. Tie ball game. Beautiful day for the home openers. Dom is apparently starting game 2.

Not a good start to the top 7. Auk gave up a double and now a walk and an infield single. Ugh. Both times now the 7, 8, 9 hitters have gotten on in a row. Ridiculous. Take him out. Put in someone else. Unga or our closer.
