Would be nice to look through a topic thread and being able to find conversation and points without being forced to sift through 12 one-lined posts stating what happened in a game 4 nights ago. I'm checking this thread less and less because of the in-game threads.

Appreciate the passion and attention, but there are plenty of places to find play-by-play accounts of games.

Any chance people who contribute nothing to this thread could stop coming in and telling one of the few people who does to stop posting?

I asked a question in a suggestive manner. Nowhere did I tell the guy to stop posting. You're right, I don't contribute much to many threads at all, but I do enjoy reading them. And this one has become like an online recipe where I scroll and scroll before seeing the actual thing I came to see. But I guess if you're enjoying the "stranded two in the 8th" posts, you're entitled to that opinion as well.

I think NYC jays point was at one point there was criticism on this board that my posts were too long form. Too much information and James Joyce-ian even. So I’ve mixed it up a bit. Now with the in game posts which some people said they prefer, those don’t seem to be going over well. If you want long form posts about the season or about a game perhaps we can make game threads separate. That way people who want to follow in game comments and analysis could have that too. Just a thought.

Just spit-balling, here. Perhaps you could start a new thread for each weekend series rather than every game and a separate thread for the midweek games as far as any pregame and in-game threads specific to an opponent. I am usually not in a position listen to games on the radio, but I do check periodically when I get a chance to see how a game is going.

I hate to bury the Volleyball and women's basketball threads behind a number of baseball threads. But this time of year, those will be relatively inactive and any new signing/commitment or development in coaching positions will bump them back up.

Thanks for the updates.

I do enjoy seeing people having commentary on creighton baseball. Posting is the point of a forum.

My point here is that this is the 3rd or 4th time someone who never posts has come in here and complained about however Tdjay114 is posting at the time, then he tries to do something different, and someone else comes in and complains about that. I’d just prefer people don’t run off the only consistent poster here. As someone who checks the forum every few days I prefer something being said about the baseball games vs having a thread where people post once or twice a month and I have to check the official website for any updates (as is the case with soccer and uno hockey).

I follow most every game thru the CU website, you can literally view it in real time. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a post on each out, or error (which TD doesn’t do), well except for the error part! Thankfully those are fairly rare. I’m glad to have another fan who is passionate about CU baseball I guess (even though I haven’t always been pleasant to him). Keep doing what you want to do TD!

TD, I love your posts, personally. I don't have time to follow a game thread, and personally appreciate when you talk about players/plays that are significant. As a casual CU baseball follower, I'd rather read your short-form posts than a post game writeup from CU athletics.

Keep doing you!

Thanks all. And to those yes that want something a bit different. I’ll just try to mix it under and stay positive. In any case, today’s series opener is as postponed. Now 1 game tomorrow at 1 pm and a double header starting Sunday morning at 9 am. We need to get this games in. All big east games are crucial as we’ve seen the last 2 years with rain outs and then missing the conference tournament by a game or by percentage points. We need to get all 3 in. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Don't be afraid to tell it like it is. You know, pitchers off his rocker, just kissed Betty Crocker. That batter swings like a rusty gate. That shortstop looks like Molly Putz out there.

lol. Solid.

St. John’s is beating X by the way. 5 to 4 top 7. It’s at St. John’s. UConn and Georgetown are playing a DH. UConn won the first and is winning the second. And nova is winning easily against winless butler.
