Well, I'll be brief because this is an in-game post! The game just started, a half hour early! I guess it's supposed to rain in Portland today and tomorrow. So they must have moved up the start time. It's on ESPN+ again. We are wearing the powder blues! Love those. Tate Gillen with a lead-off hit. The announcer is still saying Geee-yen. You'd think he would have looked up or asked how to say it by now - the 3rd game of the series. Oh well, he seems well researched and enthusiastic otherwise.

He hit McHugh! Charge the mound! Lol. That's payback after McHugh's two hrs yesterday! Anyway, the bases are juiced! Let's go Kyle!

This guy might not make it out of the top of the 1st! Another hit batter. 0 outs. 3 to 0 Jays. And yep, they are already sending two guys to the bullpen. Bases still loaded. Let's get a hit and really open this game up!

Dang. Ben North grounded out. They made the force out at home. 1 out. Need a hit to get a few more runs. Come on Conor! As I mentioned yesterday, it does seem like both catchers, McHugh and Capece, will play no matter who starts at catcher. Both can hit. Dang... as I type this, Conor grounded into an inning-ending double play. Oh well. Still a good start for the Jays.

Jimmy Burke is starting for us. Interesting. He was very solid the back half of last season if I recall correctly. Hopefully he keeps that going.

And Capece is at catcher, but McHugh is still in the lineup for his power it seems.
