I went to 2 of the 3. KBB played everybody, and Meader wasn't there, so it was a little rough. Some impressions:
1. Brandewie (Ohio State transfer MB) may not be Goetzinger level at this point, but very good, and she'll be here 2 years.
2. Freshman OH Abbey Hayes is very, very good. I haven't been that impressed with a freshman since Norah and Kendra were new. We'll see what that assessment is worth in a few months.
3. Backrow should be solid with Damrow, and Syd looked good too.
I don't think we'll be a top 10 team again, but top 20 is definitely possible.

Yes, they both played in each set. I thought they were running a 6-2 at one point, but I think it was just subbing since there was unlimited substitution.

Depends where the game v Omaha is. FWIW, Omaha's account tweeted weeks ago that the game was going to be at CHI (presumably before the supernovas game) but Creighton since tweeted their schedule with that game as location TBD.

Any word on the South Dakota tournament?

Any word on the South Dakota tournament?

I don't have any details on how specific players looked or rotations since most of this is coming from the SDSU radio broadcast (they didn't know any CU players since they were wearing tshirts and not jerseys/numbers) but Creighton went 2-0 yesterday. They beat Minnesota 2-1 and SDSU 3-1. Minnesota went 0-2 (they were playing without Julia Hanson and Mckenna Wucherer).

In the match against Minnesota, Creighton won set 1 comfortably 25-18. They came from behind late to beat Minnesota in set 2 and nearly did the same in set 3 but Minnesota was able to escape in the third.

Set scores against SDSU: 25-21, 19-25, 25-17, 29-27.
