6'4 SG from Kansas. Figured he deserved a thread since he is making an unofficial this weekend. #42 in ESPN rankings. Very stiff competition including KU.

I mentioned to Joey T that Mitchell was at the CU/Villanova game 2 years ago in Omaha. Saw a good one.

Goes to a small HS 8 miles from KU. On the AAU circuit/camps, he is big time! Must have some love for the Jays this being at least his 2nd unofficial.

He may be keeping options open in case he isn't KU's top choice at SG

Really good player. Some think he's a lock for Kansas. But, he's been out this season so maybe their interest will cool. Nice that he'll come for a game where we are likely to win, but not the atmosphere it would be for a Xavier or even Marquette.

2017 SG Mitchell Ballock had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder this past Monday and will likely be out for his entire junior year at Eudora High School, Ballock told TheShiver.com.
Side note: He is left-handed. Might scare away some teams but will have his entire HS senior year to play.

Has potential to be program changer. Before injury I know he was high on Creighton (Doug-fan), Iowa State (Hoiberg) and Kansas (hometown). Still rate him high despite his injury, seems like a Creighton-type kid.
