2016 SG Lindy Waters III (Offered)

We offered him about 1 week ago and made his top 8. 6'6 SG from OK. #117 on Rivals. Schools like Clemson, Cincinnati and Iowa State also have offered but did not make the cut.

July has been very friendly to Waters, who has established himself as one of the better three-point shooters in the 2016 class. Albeit presently a three star prospect, Waters has performed like a more touted player the past couple weeks. The Oklahoma native had some very bright moments at the Adidas Uprising Camp, as he squares up very nicely on his jump shot and possesses easy range to 22 feet. He doesn’t have the quickest release nor is he a prime athlete, but a 6-5 guard with a stroke definitely can help a high-major program. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, North Carolina, Clemson, Stanford and others have put eyes on him this month, and he said recently that the Cowboys, Cyclones are Harvard are his top three schools.
