Boy, that 2017 roster is a killer:

Arop, Agau, Chandler, and Wilson - incredible.

You didn't even mention Jay Small (Hinton, Iowa), who is their 1b to Marques' 1a. Their point guard, Ayo Akinwole, is one of the best players in the class here in Nebraska and started for Papillion-La Vista as a freshman.

BTW HTA, his name is spelled with an e.

He's a strong, 6'2" guard who can score at all three levels (from three, mid-range and in the paint). He can handle the ball pretty well and has good body control, using head fakes, jab steps, etc. to create space. Seems like a good kid and teammate. He lives in Edmund, Oklahoma but has family here. He's in Omaha during the summer and I've seen him here once or twice during this past season.

I haven't seen him play since last summer, so I'm looking forward to seeing how much he's improved.

Will an offer from CU soon follow? I know we would still have Marcus on board for '17 but I would hope the coaching staff makes an effort on any local kid who's D1 material. Can't have too many guards with versatile scoring skill sets

I agree with Jaysker and was talking to Jacob Padilla on Twitter a little about him. He is obviously still young, but it may be a good idea to get Wilson early if the staff likes him enough. Recruiting should be easier with local talent. The more Patton's, Khyri's, Wilson's there are, the better.

Creighton got Khyri and Justin after they had proved themselves to be Big East caliber because of the relationships they established early in the process. Even without an official offer at this point, Creighton is in a good spot with him.
