Well put. Strong opinions in a vacuum of knowledge, now that's "tiring."
Can't speak for anyone else on here, but I don't at all think that I know how to build a program. Our staff understands what is needed, but has had a dismal time beating out other schools for recruits the past few months. I'm sure that they're more disappointed in the recruiting misses than I am. So, it's not as though everything's going according to plan, and I'm expressing concern cause I think their apparent plan is a bad one. Instead, my concern is that this staff may never be able to fully execute their plans, because they are unable to get enough of the players they want to land.
I do like the current 2015 class, but only one of those 4 guys seems more likely than not to eventually be a big time player. For the 100th time, I hope that my relative pessimism is proven wrong.
As for strong opinions, everyone on here has them. I do think some people are more apt to acknowledge their own opinions' weaknesses and seriously consider contrary opinions and the merits to be found in those opinions. All of us are wrong a lot of the time, and that's just the nature of obsessive fans having a place to vent their sports opinions for others to read. I swear that I don't come here to argue. I like seeing what everyone has to say about Creighton hoops.
As for Mulder, I agree that we are probably out.
