Trent will be visiting this weekend (along with Mulder).

So, the staff clearly has 1 or 2 scholarships left to hand out for 2015-2016. Going to be an interesting Spring.

Indeed. That clearly means that 1 or 2 will not be on scholarship next year. Apparently all 9 returning players were at practice on Monday, though. I guess they haven't had their post season meetings yet?
I wonder if someone is going to walk on to get a scholarship opened up?

Re: the bolded part, would be very surprised if anyone besides Groselle did so, and would be surprised if he/his family chose to do so, even if it is his 5th year. Don Zierden could surely afford to pay for his son (of course, so could loads of parents of D1 athletes), but it would be really bizarre to pass up free tuition for 2 years, especially so the team could add another guard or two. Seems much more likely that one or two guys are transferring out. Whether or not any of the returning players want to leave is a different matter.
Mulder and Trent are both top 20 Juco guys, per 247, and are 2 of the top 7 unsigned Juco guys. Very legit players, and either would represent an upgrade in overall team talent. A 247 prediction for Mulder to CU was made today. Not that those have worked out too well for Creighton in the past.
