Ok, Chicago I understand the mismatch you propose. Now consider the headaches you might create with Toby at the 4, with that shooting touch and Cole at the 3 with that strength. Do opponents try to guard Toby with a 3 and Cole with a 4. If you do does Toby post up. Do you go to zone? What do you do when Toby flashes the paint and we have a big on the baseline and shooters at the wing. Toby is a good passer and can see over most defenders and he shoots well in the midrange. there are lots of ways to play the game.

I love that also - I don't want Toby to play just one position for us, just like I don't want Huff to play just one. I think moving them around (as the most versatile shooters on the floor) gives us a ton of options. Add in the fact that Groselle has become a very effective post player offensively to your scenario and we can put a ton of pressure on the defense.

Justin is 3-18 from 3 this year.

His future is as a face-up big, but he has a ways to go as a shooter. I think the coaches will probably rework his form as well when he gets to campus. His foot work isn't great and he doesn't have a whole lot of arc. However, even so he makes some really difficult jumpers which shows his potential in that area.

As for my encore I'm just going to laugh when all of your crazy predictions don't come true.
I'm not sure when this became personal, I never intended to make it so, but believe me, if you continue your immature attacks I will dredge up every crazy prediction that hasn't come true just to throw it back in your face. Have a nice day.

Why would u think these comments are personal. Attack(s)? No, just a differing opinión. I don't know u, we've never met. We could pass each other and never know it. IMO Toby has a ways to go developmentally - as a PF he will have stiff competition to hold the 4 spot, I just don't see him learning the 5, especially since we have 3 center players (Geoff, Hanson, and Patton) already.

PS: If u have issues with a poster, the best thing to do is to put them on your ignore list. Many on both our boards do so. Dredging up old gtmoisms will upset a good portion of this board who ignore me religiously. And please...do not quote gtmo...ever.

Sure we have 3 guys who can play the center position, but none of them are particularly good at guarding other 5's who can move out to the 3 pt line (see DePaul #1), and none of them can shoot 3 pointers. Hegner can, hence, he's likely to be in the mix for minutes there. He has a ways to go, but he has the skill set to be very, very good. 6-10 shooters with dribble drive abilities, post moves like a baby hook and the ability to gain even more weight and strength don't grow on trees.

Unless you consider Huff to be a 4 (he'll start at 3 or 4, I tend to think 3), Hegner will start at the 4. No slam for someone to lose out to Huff as it's clear he's the best player on the team next year... but I think both he and Hegner start for us next year.

It's impossible to make predictions for next season. Our roster is going to be completely changed, and we will have players that can all (aside from Watson), play multiple positions. Huff, Stewart, Patton, Krampelj and Thomas can all play multiple positions. Huff can probably play the 2-4 spots if we really needed him to. That's the beauty of next years team, it's going to be so much more flexible.

Patton had 23 points and 22 rebounds tonight in a win over Westside. Not too shabby!

North's stat-keeper credited him with 23 points and 21 rebounds on the box score he uploaded to MaxPreps. Either way, he's had a double-double in both district games (12-12 in the first one). It looks like North will face Bellevue West in the first round. The T-Birds won at home in North's 3rd game of the season, but both teams are a lot better now than they were then. I hope he gets used to winning at PBA.

North has the 3rd best record in Class A and is tied for second in wins with Prep at 23. It's amazing to see how much that program has turned around from last year.
