If you could add 1 player...

Something to consider during the week-plus break after tonight's game. Got thinking about it after catching a few minutes of the Iowa @ Northwestern game yesterday, reading about the Chrabascz injury and seeing the Marcus Foster talk.

Anyway, if you could add to Creighton's current roster one currently active D-1 player who Creighton somewhat actively pursued and who seemed at least moderately interested in CU, who would you add? In this hypothetical, the player would have had to be added to the roster at whatever time there was at least a semi-reasonable connection between the staff and the player. Similarly, you should at least try to consider the roster impact if that player had ended up here at that time. For instance, Marcus Foster would have had to join after his HS career, not after his Freshman campaign (cause I really doubt he would have had near the season with Doug and co. that he had last year with KSU- he'd be great to have now, but how would he have developed as a mere role player in his 1st season?), and I would think that 1 of our 2 Juco guys would not be here if he was. Or, if we had Chrabascz, I would assume that Hanson would not be here. Same with Eliason instead of Artino, in all likelihood.

Uthoff and Chrabascz would be pretty close to the top of my list, but there are tons of interesting possibilities out there.

Jared Uthoff. I'm also wondering how Tre'Shawn Thurman would be for us right now. I don't know much about our interest in him coming out of Omaha Central but I kind of wish he played for us instead of UNO.
