Can't wait for your review. He is having a very good year and they are playing top level talent in Iowa and Minn. Neb bball just is at a different level- after watching Om North against Prep, I was amazed at how bad the guard play was on North. I would like to see Patton play with some guards that get him the ball.

I'm with you. I was at that game too. Omaha North made this year's Jays team look like the 1985 Lakers.

Their starting point guard is a football player who already has a scholarship locked up for SDSU. He's clearly not anywhere close to in basketball form, and can't really shoot even when he is. Their other senior guard is a lot like Devin Brooks... except with fewer highlights. Their best guard is probably the sophomore that comes off the bench, but he's still young and mistake-prone. They only have one kid who can shoot from the perimeter. All in all, it's not an ideal situation to showcase a 7-footer. Justin is making the best of it, though.

New video out for Marlon. While the music is perhaps the worst ever for a highlight video, the video does show that Marlon is a wide body and beefy - similar to a Nick Porter type. He looks the part of a typical Big East guard.

He kind of seems more Chatman-ish to me. Which is a good thing. He could definitely contribute solid minutes next season if he works hard in the summer and fall practice.

When I said similar to Nick Porter, I meant in body style, not game.

looks like he's definitely bulked up some - you can see some highlights in his video that look older where he's not nearly as big

so beefy - and looks like he's definitely a little bouncy, too

If he could have Nick Porter's body type, with Austin's style of play, with above-the-rim athleticism (which he clearly has), I think we will be very happy with Mr. Stewart. Creighton hasn't had many GUARDS who can dunk in traffic. That'll be fun to watch.

I think that music they used was also the background music in every Skinemax soft porn movie ever. I mean, I assume that's what those would sound like.

He's a guy who is ready to play from day 1 physically. Big, thick and athletic. He's not incredibly explosive, but he can take contact and keep moving through the lane.

Marlon scored his 1,000th point at North Scott:
"It's a great achievement but I owe it all to my coaches, my family and my teammates for getting this far," Stewart said.
The North Scott senior passed the milestone by scoring 26 points Tuesday night to lead the Lancers past Davenport West 74-34 in Mississippi Athletic Conference action at The Pit.
Stewart needed just 14 points coming into the game to reach 1,000 and he blew past that midway through the third quarter. He had 11 points in the first half but scored eight of the Lancers' 14 third-quarter points to help North Scott (13-3, 10-1 MAC) break open a close game.
He left the game with 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter to a warm ovation from the crowd and high-fives from his teammates and coach Shamus Budde. Stewart came to the Lancers before the beginning of his junior season after playing his first two years for the Falcons.
"I'm very happy for Marlon, he's a great kid," Budde said. "He's very coachable, he works hard and he puts a lot of time into his game. There's not a lot of kids that can say they reached (1,000 points). He's just a great basketball player and he's going to continue to get better."
Stewart said becoming such a prolific scorer just took hard work.
"Getting in the gym and working," he said. "I think I've matured a lot and become more consistent, taking good shots."
