New story about Davon: http://www.indystar.com/story/recruitin ... s/4358241/

He said Creighton has actually been the school recruiting him the hardest recently and he hopes to visit soon. He also visited Michigan State for the North Carolina game in early December.

"Creighton is actually after me a lot right now," Dillard said. "I get text or call from them pretty much every day and plan to visit there soon."
"But I truly care about Creighton and the fans and what they've done for me the last three years. I want to give them one more year and take care of business in the Big East so we can prove people wrong.'' ---- Doug McDermott

Davon Dillard listed offers from Creighton, Indiana, Purdue. Would like to visit Creighton, Marquette, USC. http://bit.ly/1oBy2tb

Rivals #123, 247 #112

Specifically he likes the Creighton coaches and says he wants to see the Creighton campus to see what it has to offer and how he would fit in there.

Gabe Levin transferred out of Marquette today (aside from lack of future PT, I'm not sure why) and the word over here is that Wojo is pretty heavily recruiting Davon Dillard for a 5th scholie in the class. I know that CU and MU were two of his best offers so I'm just curious why the drop off in interest? I'd heard possibly attitude issues but I'm not sure. Looks like a stud.

Let's just say that he sometimes has difficulties getting along with teammates.

Looks like we made his final 5. Anyone have more info on him? Cal, Indiana, Pitt, and Purdue are other finalists.

There should be a page on here someplace. We've been recruiting him a long time but I thought we had backed off. Davon has big time game. Go Jays!

Hmm. Interesting. I hadn't heard his name mentioned with the Jays in a while.

He's the type of player we don't have right now (big athletic slashing wing). That would be a massive pickup.

Looks like an athletic, strong and physical SF. Originally from Gary Indiana and now playing in NY (Prep?). Supposed to be a good defender, good rebounder and a highlight film dunker. Needs to work on his shooting consistency and handle. He's a very high energy guy, though. Bigger version of Brooks (in a good way)?

I like adding someone with a definite physical presence. Big enough to play his position and physical and tough enough to not back down from anyone.
