He said pooping Do we want a guy who does all that pooping :) :) :)

We do if he can poop the ball through the basket. Wouldn't want to get the rebound though! Any word on how the visit is going (went)?

Yeah, that was Kendall. Edward Chang (one of the local freshmen they're keeping their eye on) was there. I'm guessing that's who was sitting with the Pattons, but I couldn't see well enough across the court.

The buzz over at BJB is that there is possibly some good news coming, along with the signings of our current commits. Any new stuff on Krampelj, Hauser, others?

Well it's been a crazy year on the recruiting front. Looks like we will fill our needs even though we missed on two we wanted the roster is shaping up. Coaches did a great Job. Go Jays!

TAA
Right now it's just rank speculation without any specifics from a usually reliable source from the other premium site.

Did Patton and Stewart actually sign? Has anything been announced?

Yep. Patton signed his NLI a little bit ago. Here's a photo they shared on Twitter of him signing:

Now that Patton has signed, I have to say I am already impressed with the type of person he is. It can't be easy to be a 17 year old kid and not back out of a verbal agreement in his situation. As a late addition top 50 recruit, he turned down the chance to take visits to a lot of schools. I mean how many teenage recruits want to take a weekend and party with ASU girls... And the whole time we heard nothing but strong commitment from him. It really says a lot to his character and his dedication to the Jays. Can't wait to get him and Stewart on campus!

i think the best way to look at recruiting classes - is in 2 year snapshots

so - on paper we have this:

PG: Watson, Stewart
Wings: Harrell (Frankamp?)
Stretch 4 - Huff, Martin, LG3 (can't decide if he's more of a slashing wing or traditional PF)
Post - Patton

I think that looks pretty good on paper - with the one question mark still to go.

We've got a little bit of everything - ball handlers, shooters, shot blocker, energy guys, post, slasher - plus i think a lot of these guys are interchangeable from a position standpoint. watson seems like strictly a PG. Not sure if Patton can step out and stick 17 footers as a four. Don't know much about martin's game yet - but most Euro's can shoot and he does have a bigger body - so maybe he can play the Wragge-non-traditional-5 for us. Stewart looks like a combo. Harrell looks like he can play 2-3- and maybe even situationally stretch 4, LG3 looks like a 3-4 as does Huff.

Lot of possibilities there.
