It cracks me up that half their board doesn't want him. Um, yeah, 2 1/2 years to play, top 40 OA talent?

That fanbase was hard to tolerate before. Their final 4 run has made them insufferable. Their message board coaches think that any player that doesn't go to WSU isn't good enough to play there. Isn't tough enough, can't play defense etc. It's comical. One scholar over there claimed Frankamp was only a shooter, and that can only go so far. A later poster chimed in and said shooting got McDermott to the Bulls, so...

I am going to have to retrieve my password come March and bust out some serious STFU, at least until they ban me, which based on their perceived superiority and enormous shoulder chip might be one post.

Thanks for pointing me back to their board. We are still so in their heads. There was one poster, though, who was clever, the guy who did the "Anti-Shock" post that if he comes to CU, the Omen prophecies will be fulfilled, and Conner will be discovered to have an upside down W tattoo hidden somewhere on his body. At least one of their fans has an IQ north of 50.

Of course we would take Conner. This really has less to do with Conner and more to do with KU. Many shocker fans, right or wrong, just don't want to be perceived as taking KU's "seconds". If he were to come from just about any other top program in the nation not named KU, this wouldn't even be a discussion. Like Creighton, we are a very prideful program, even when we sucked. You guys can't stand Nebraska, we can't stomach KU. Our programs are really more similar than different. That's probably why we can't stand you and you can't stand us.

Conner is a absolute offensive talent but his deficiencies are on the defensive side of the ball. If you don't play defense to a certain expectation, you don't play for Marshall. Marshall doesn't make very many mistakes so if he thinks Conner's total game can help the shocks, he will go after him.

Hey B&G. Thanks for posting. I can identify with the taking "KU seconds" sentiment...I hate those chickenhawk fatherless children as well. However, Frankamp is a good talent - even with defensive shortcomings (and average athleticism) - he's a shooter so he's welcome here, should he decide to come here.

There are good fans everywhere. Even Wichita. I even found myself rooting for you guys against Gonzaga. Good luck except when you are playing the Jays.
