According to an MSU article, McQuaid may also be looking at visits to North Carolina and Indiana, but I hope after this weekend he sees how valued he would be and how much he could thrive at Creighton.

Any updates on Matt's visit? Is he still in town or has he returned home?

Would love to hear news about this young man's visit. He is a very important recruit to get for our program. PLease, Please, Please. The next "McBuckets" to Shooter U is "McQuaid".

Is Matt known as Lone Wolf McQuaid? Seems like a natural for Shooter U.

Wizard, with all due respect and in part because I am sensitive to the fact that this is an all too relevant issue for me at my age, Mr. McQuaid will never be known as "Lone Wolf" as much as those of our generation might wish that he were. The cultural reference to that movie (and to Chuck Norris generally - exception: see judges in "Dodgeball") has no relevance to his generation. It makes me sadly nostalgic but I'm afraid it is true and it will be his generation that will provide the appropriate sobriquet. That having been said, I have pulled my white Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers from the back of the closet, pull out the untitled fourth album of Led Zeppelin and fire up the old Garrard turntable and mourn lost youth. Here's to you.

Insofar as anything can be guessed by looking at someone's twitter account, it looks like things went nicely. Hope that we hear something soon. We need McQuaid. I'm definitely more optimistic than I was about G. Watson.

Matt's visit was perfect, just a bummer he didn't commit.

Staff and players did an excellent job this weekend with him. Heard he and Patton were excellent when they scrimmaged with team, a few players told me he is a 'perfect fit for our system'
