Didn't see a thread for Amir Coffey. Here is an interesting article from the Mpls Star Tribune.

At 6'7" his father insists he's a combo guard who can play some point. I would think that we'd love that size option at the guard positions in the Big East.

Sounds like he's waiting for the blue-blood schools to offer. However, I feel like CU is exactly the kind of offense he described if you consider Gibbs a point guard of sorts.

The 2016 Amir Coffey thread is on page 7, with many other original 2015-16 threads:
Watson, Coffey, Boudreaux, McQuaid, Grandstaff, Kuiper, Chad Lott, etc.

Article states that Ed Morrow visited the Hilltop. Is that factual?

If so, when was he here?

Sounds/looks like Coach Mac is currently in Philadelphia at the Reebok Breakout Classic. Looking at the roster (http://www.reebokbreakout.com/july-is-live/2014-roster/), Donovan Mitchell, Markis McDuffie, Matt Milon, and some others are there.

Lutz appears to be in Atlanta, site of Live Player and a couple other events this week. Not really sure who of current interest is playing down there. http://www.elite-basketball.com/wp-cont ... seList.pdf

Not sure about Sellers or D-Rock, but think one of them is also in Phila. Would guess that at least one of our coaches would be at the Adidas event in Chicago at some point this week.

Wonder whether any of them will go to the LeBron Skills Academy at any point. There are a few 2015 Creighton offers there, but maybe only one or two of that group (Hogg, Davis, Beasley, Morrow, Falzon, Mann, Ellenson) are currently realistic targets.

Mac said he was gonna be in Vegas to recruit because someone asked him if he would watch Doug in the summer league.

The main goal should be getting the verbal from Glynn Watson or other top PG. With Patton and GW, the pressure will be off and CU can get a 3rd /4th recruit by November. Optimally have 3 commits by November and hold 1 for next Spring.

If reports are true that we've cooled on Illikainen, that would probably mean that a ton of effort would shift to getting a commit from GW.
Also, with Dorsey committing to Minnesota, Glynn will be the main focus for both us and the team to the southwest. Hopefully we can get him on campus soon and get a verbal from him.

Sounds like its down to Purdue, Nebraska, and Creighton for Watson. Need a PG in this class, he would be a good one.

Glynn has visited (with family) unofficially. We are in his top 3 and news articles state he will return for an official after the July AAU events. He is a major recruiting target for the program at this point.
