Dude is a player. Forget the stats. Had injury problems. He will flourish in the CU system. Custom built for him.

Wow, awesome get. Walk-on at Creighton instead of scholarship offers at Mizzou, Nebraska etc.....if healthy, will challenge Dingman at the 3 for minutes.

Creighton has landed Cal transfer Ricky Kreklow. Will graduate and play this season.

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN 17m
Greg Mcdermott & his staff have done a nice job with transfer market this offseason. Added point guard (Watson), big man (Huff) and Kreklow.

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN 17m
Crazy thing is I am told Kreklow chose to walk-on at Creighton over scholarship at other quality spots.

Jon Rothstein ‏@JonRothstein 3m
Creighton isn't going to be as good as last year, but an Austin Chatman, Devin Brooks, Ricky Kreklow perimeter is solid in the Big East.

Jeff Borzello ‏@jeffborzello 10m
That's three transfers for Creighton this offseason: Maurice Watson, Cole Huff and now Ricky Kreklow. Post-Doug McDermott life ain't so bad.

Does this mean Kreklow is now the second best walk-on in CU history?

Exciting news!

I know we saw him when we played @Cal (hurt last year for their game in Omaha), but I barely remember anything about him. I found this video clip from the season we won @Cal. He hustles his butt off. Kind of Gibbs-ish.

His numbers aren't mindblowing but one thing I see is an assist/turnover ratio close to 2:1 last year which is very Gibbs like.

Unbelievable job by the staff landing him...I bow to them and firmly apologize for doubting this could happen.
