I don't think even GTMO is suggesting a cause and effect relationship. I think it reflects our belief we can reasonably expect to attract more talented players and our interest in pursuing a number of them.

Goodman always keeps a current transfer list. Here it is:

We've got irons in the fire with 10 or more Top 100 kids (depending on which recruit board u use). The competition is going to be heated, as we only have 5 spots available, with plenty of PT up for grabs in 2015.

Plus it seems we have 4-6 CU leans: PFs Metu-illikainen, SGs Thompson-Simon-McQuaid, PG Small. I suppose the Jays will go with the Best Available strategy at each of the 5 positions? HilltopAlum...what's the word from the dept.? :?:

Where do you see that Metu and Illikanen are CU leans? Not saying we won't get them but that is contrary to what I've seen/ heard.

What have u seen that states otherwise?

Future 150 has our position improving relative to both players.

Just giving my opinion - I did say "it seems we have...leans". Not a definitive statement at all. We are in Metu's top 5. He is an academic kid. Montgomery just left Cal Berkeley. We move up.
Alex has visited CU numerous times. We get favorable mention in articles on him. The Montgomery retirement favors us as Alex has visited Berkeley previously.

Ok I see what you are saying, I think.

247 Chrystal ball has predicted Illikainen to Minnesota pretty strong, although they had Gilmore to Houston and Harrell to Purdue so I guess I should take that with a grain of salt. I haven't seen anything on Metu to CU, other than that we are in his top 5.

Just had to smile when Keion Alexander showed up. If he gets to CU I would love to talk about his recruitment. Remember when Dana would offer someone like Matt Hill and hope that he would come to CU and when he didn't we were in trouble. This Staff is busting their tails recruiting I hope we can keep them together for awhile.
