Coach Mac should tell this kid he can come and play the "Doug McDermott" position. Wow, lots of athleticism and a pretty good stroke from deep. Seems skilled off the dribble and really rebounds well. Can you imagine throwing a lineup of Harrell, Gilmore, and Davis at spots 2-4 at teams? Along with Artino/Hanson at the 5 and bring Hegner and Harris off the bench? We'd have size and length all over the court :o

I agree, future would be bright. Harrell being a shooter at the 2, Gilmore the slasher at the 3 and Davis, the stretch 4 rebounder.

Davis was a really, really late bloomer on the recruiting circuit. His stock has skyrocketed in the last couple of months. I would not be shocked to see him in the top 100 conversation when everything settles. We'd be getting a very high level player if he chose to sign with the Jays. Sounds like a very high-level character guy as well, which is equally important.

C'mon Mac & Co. Close the deal!

#1 ranked regional university in the Midwest.
    Brand new business school facilities.
Nationally ranked hoops program with top 5 attendance.
Come in and build our own legacy after Doug is taken in the lottery this summer.
It's a perfect fit Mr. Davis.

Those are serious highlights. That said, the competition looked pretty JV. He is a man among boys in those Youtubes.

Seems like a bright kid. High character, good student, good player. A perfect fit at Creighton!

I don't usually comment on youtube highlights but holy crap...I like what I see there. High Major recruits usually DO look like men among boys in H.S. But he's got great speed, good handles, range, control, size, leaping ability. Goodness...he has the LOOK of the kind of guy CU needs to keep things going.

Corey Evans ‏@coreyevans_10 1h
Jackson Davis will take remaining 3 officials to Alabama, Creighton, Arizona St & unofficially visit Vandy & Butler.

Then....

After initially trimming to six, Johnathon said Florida “is back in the boat. “

They have a call scheduled for tonight (Wednesday) with assistant John Pelphrey, but head coach Billy Donovan won’t visit with an offer until Florida, the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, is finished playing.

“He understands we could potentially come to a final conclusion before he gets there,” Johnathon said.

Davis has taken officials to Columbia and Rice (where he previously committed) and has three officials remaining. He will also take two unofficials.

His father said there is “no timetable” on a decision.

“He is a priority for all of these schools,” his father said. “They will wait.”

Seems to me Cunningham and Davis for the last scholie.

That is a great sign that we get one of the officials and Vandy/Butler do not. If he is truly about academics, I can't see Alabama or Arizona St. making the grade. Whoooaaaa.

Maybe you should tell our assistant coach (Sellers) that we stopped recruiting him cause he went to go see him last night.
