For some reason I was thinking Middle Tennessee State was one of the teams too. Anyone remember the 4th?

I think Florida Gulf Coast is near there, hopefully atleast Fox Sports 1 or someone televises it.

Destin would be awesome for me, I live 1/2 hour from there. Just to let you know it's the most beautiful beaches in Florida, white talcum powder sand. Very far west on the Florida Panhandle and Pensacola and Panama City both have Southwest. Not a bad drive from Omaha either if you do a night stopover in Nashville. BTW Jet, FGC is way further south down in Fort Meyers. This is ground zero of SEC football. Called the "Emerald Coast" for it's aqua waters and the "Redneck Riviera" or "Lower Alabama" for its homespun culture. I remember there being a good ammount of CU fans who drove down for the UAB game a couple years ago, which is a similiar distance.

It's another so-so tourney but if there was a year to be in one, next year would probably be it since we will be pretty young and inexperienced.

good point - i hope that next year we'll be doing a pre-season overseas deal, too.

that was the thing that really got things rolling for us a few years ago with young squad.

Looks Like it's set up so we are guaranteed to play Ole Miss then Cincy in the Final if we win.

With a young team I'll take it. GREAT realaxing and beautiful place, hope y'all come on down, if you don't know about the Emerald Coast it's worth a look. It's also a doable drive with an overnight in Nashville or Chattanooga. Great fishing charters. Here's Destin Harbor:

I lived in Pensacola for about a year, it's a nice place and alot warmer than Omaha would be near the end of November.

Looks like this Emerald Coast Classic will be played at NW Florida Juco's gym in Niceville, which is on the north side of the bay and probably at least 25 minutes from Sandestin or other nearby and desirable coastal lodging (40+ minutes to the west from the nice spots on 30A and 60+ minutes to the east from Pensacola). So, while I concur with Jet and w&b77 about the positive qualities of that portion of the gulf coast, the setting of the games is not ideal.

Are we still going to have to play @Tulsa, @Loyola and @North Texas?
