Everyone talks about how great CU is...and it is. However, to an old dog and diehard like me - it's about Winning. We've got a very good roster of players, able to compete with the vast majority of teams. With Leon, we get the talent, athleticism, and heart to compete and WIN against elite teams. Wing was our weakness the last 2 NCAAs. With LG3 and other 2014 recruits those old issues are resolved.

Winning is the main thing, the ONLY thng that matters to this homer. We will reload after McDermott leaves - Leon can be a Big part of the 2014 team.
Creighton is a winner...since 1916. We have and will continue -Winning, it's the only thing. It's what we do.

I want to thank his Mom for taking the time to talk to our fan base. It is a rare attribute when a parent cares not only for their son/daughter, but also the feelings of individuals that they may never meet. It speaks volumes for the person you are and upbringing you have obviously done with your son. Everyone I have spoken to that met your son has been very impressed with Leon as a man, not just a player. I hope all the best for Leon, wherever he attends school. I want you to be assured that if he decides to come here, his path through adulthood will be held in high account at Creighton. He will be part of a family that he will cherish for the rest of his life, and in turn, be cherished.

Sometime early this week according to his mother. I dont see anything on his twitter indicating a particular day.

Leon will be making a decision and announcement sometime tomorrow afternoon. I asked him to contact the other coaches at whichever schools he doesn't chooses first and thank them personally before he goes public out of respect. Thanks again for your support. He has a lot of thinking to do tonight.
