Seems like that would depend on a lot of things that may not be sorted out until November. If that's a negative, though, there is a new positive, which relates to Macura's pledge:

"2014 SG Riley LaChance tells me #Xavier is no longer on his list and he will not visit. http://www.ny2lasports.com/player_detai ... layerid=80 … @ny2lasports @N_Aiello"

So, Baylor, Vandy and us in the lead? Have to guess that Scott Drew will slow play this one, but Vandy needs some good news way worse than we do, does have a good new recruiting assistant, and appears as interested as Creighton.

Vandy just got a combo guard last week although they still have like 4 scholarships to fill I think. Going to their board, their fans weren't even excited about LaChance visiting last week. As for Baylor, I'm sure Drew is gonna rent another live bear....

IMO Baylor is currently the leader, with Indiana (no offer), Vandy, Davidson, CU - in order.

GTMO, not sure why you think this, I don't get great vibes when reading about LaChance but putting Davidson ahead of us? I don't even think he's visiting them anymore. I have no idea what his relationship is with Baylor or Vandy, they might be ahead of us, who knows...right now, until Indiana or Michigan State offers him, it's a 3 way race.

It was only about a week ago that a recruiting expert tweeted that we are in the lead...since then, we've been pushed all the way down to 5th? No. I think we are currently in the lead, however, his visit to Baylor could change that. Don't let your dislike of LaChance as a recruit fog your judgment of who's in the lead - CU

But we were also said to be in the lead for Macura and finished 3rd for him.

Our 'lead' with Macura was never explicitly stated - I believe the best words we received on Macura was "Creighton has the most momentum heading into his decision". With LaChance, it literally was "Creighton's in the lead"

We were never in the lead for Macura that I am aware of, it was always thought Minnesota was in the lead. I did think that if he didn't go to Minnesota, we had a great shot.

Regarding LaChance, we were in the lead for him before his visit to Vandy.
