2014 G James Demery (St. Joseph's Verbal Commit)

Sounds like he narrowed his list to 5: James Demery has trimmed his list to five with Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, St. Joseph's, Creighton, and Miami making the cut. He has a few more visits to take before coming to his final decision. Anyone know if he plans on visiting Creighton? It's been pretty quiet on the visiting front.

In other words, Tennessee is out, not sure if they signed someone or not.......I would think Miami is out with them getting Palmer although I guess you could play Demery as a small forward, not sure what their scholarship situation is but they also just signed Newton, a 4 start PG.

I found this on the St. Joe's Message board:

He's at St. Joe's today. Would be nice to know when/whether he is making a trip to Omaha.

I'm also wondering why he hasn't visited yet. Are we waiting for Macura to make a decision first? Not sure we can bank on that.

Virginia Tech landed a 6-5 SG yesterday (and seems to have a 2015 SF verbal, too).

I'm curious why he hasn't visited CU yet....his visit to St. Joe's was also cancelled. This guy seems like a top flight talent and now that Macura is off the table, what other SG's are we going after? I did read that he apparently is recovering from some type of knee injury. Seems pretty quiet on his general recruiting....
