Reread what I said. I never stated that we had verbals from anyone. All I asked was how the staff would handle it if we received a verbal from a PG other than LaChance first. Take it or wait? Considering we are in the top 5 of three PG's (two of which have only a small number of BCS offers, bolstering our chances), that scenario is not out of the realm of possibility.

TBJ asked if you knew if CU had any verbals in hand, and you replied that the Wisky writer alluded to the fact that we did - and none of us (except for you) interpret his comment that way.

The Wisky writer is right - some guys could try to commit before LaChance, but I don't think any of us have seen anything to indicate this has actually happened yet.

That's not the way I interpret the comment either. He's alluding to the possibility of Creighton receiving a verbal from a PG not named LaChance. Upon seeing this, I saw a similarity to a situation that the staff was faced with last summer and I posed a hypothetical question about something that might possibly happen

Not sure what Vanderbilt's scholarship situation is but they just received a commitment from combo guard Wade Baldwin today. LaChance is scheduled to go on a official to Vanderbilt on September 5th....

6'2-6'3 guard. All the major recruiting services besides ESPN categorize Wade as a SG. It's also the first commit in Vandy's 2014 class.

With Wright's commitment to Utah, the only other PG that would commit before LaChance is Bartley, right?

Update on Riley LaChance ... visit Vanderbilt (Sept 6-8), Xavier (Sept. 13-15) and Baylor (20-22). Creighton and Butler still in mix, too.

Looks like LaChance moved up his Baylor visit to September which is nice. Would think he would make a decision soon afterwards, which atleast will give us an answer before Bartley visits the following week.

FWIW 247 Sports has him listed as a Baylor recruit.
