Landing Top 25 guys IS a big push, but landing Top 150 4's and 3's is a very doable thing.
Given the Jays average about 3 spots per year, in a given 4-5 year period it is very conceivable
to have 4-7 4 star and 3-6 3 star players. For discussions sake let's say over the next 4 years we landed 4 4-star and 6 3-star players.
That still leaves 3 spots open for project players. Very doable.
It wasn't that long ago we had 3-4 4 star players on the roster, It's just that Most of them didn't work out
(Scout 4star- Kenny Lawson, Rivals 4 stars- Morrison, Stinnett, Bock, and Echenique). With improved selection for fit as
well as talent, the Jays will get our players. As pointed out in a recent article (and lambasted on this board) a team needs both -
TALENT and fit, in order to consistently win at a high level.
