I believe Illikainen is one of our top (if not top) 2015 prospect next to Kevin Puryear. Alex will be a top 50 recruit nationally in the next year.

Jays have beeen on him hard, since he was a freshman, hopefully the move to High-Major status will pay off.

Summer Jam Day 2
Alex Illikainen – 2015 – PF – Minnesota Cyclones 6-9 – Grand Rapids HS – Grand Rapids, MN Illikainen scored 18 points in a loss to the Wisconsin Blizzard. The 6-9 forward did a nice job of catching and finishing down low, showing good touch around the rim. Alex Illikainen – 2015 – PF – Minnesota Cyclones 6-9 – Grand Rapids HS – Grand Rapids, MN Illikainen had another nice game Friday, scoring a game-high 19 points in a loss to Sports U Team Izod. The 6-9 forward showed a nice shooting stroke, connecting three times from beyond the arc. Rivals has us in on a kid in Tulsa, OK., a 2015 Ctr, 6 - 10 Mamadou, Kamara. Any confirmation on this?
