According to Ryan James, the Minnesota Rivals guy, Joe Coleman was at Creighton from Sunday through Tuesday (yesterday).
"But I truly care about Creighton and the fans and what they've done for me the last three years. I want to give them one more year and take care of business in the Big East so we can prove people wrong.'' ---- Doug McDermott

Isn't St. Mary's dead in the water right now?

He just visited there last week, so despite their NCAA issues, they are at least a viable candidate...

Well if it comes down to us and Gonzaga, I really don't know which way he'd be leaning. I think playing against very good competition night in and night out in the Big East would give us a big advantage, but who knows. If there's a program I wouldn't feel absolutely horrible about losing a recruit too, it would be the Zags. Great, classy program.

This would be a tremendous get for us. A top 100 talent in HS, who started for a top 25 B1G team as a sophomore. Oh, and he joins the '12 class and at a 'need' position, coming in as an upper classman at a time where we're going to need some people (at all positions) to step up in a big way?

A guy like this would be exactly what the program needs to ensure its smooth transition.

Be a Jay, Joe!

I agree, a veteran who has proven he can score against top of the line competition would definitely be the go to guy in 2014 after McDermott.

You'd think that would be a huge selling point for us. How many top 25 programs in major conferences can a guy get an understanding that when he first suits up he'll be the #1 option?
