This guy woud be a great addition, although I sure hope he'd be willing to take a redshirt year. For the 2014-2015 season, we should still have two guys (not counting Brooks) whose primary position is the off guard in Zierden and Milliken.
Demery was great in the open floor and showed an ability to score when he got a full head of steam going towards the basket. James was consistently aggressive trying to get to the rim -- and although it would be nice to see him attempt more jumpers -- he did well enough for himself in his current game that it's hard to question his approach.
demery has not had a chance to get out on any visits yet, but he plans on heading to schools like Florida, Creighton, Georgia Tech and some others soon to get a feel for which school fits him best. In the meantime, the coveted 2014 prospect is soaking the entire experience in. Of the process he stated “It’s been exciting, real talk... Hard works pays off so I’m staying in the books and playing basketball, and I’m glad t see how hard I’ve worked in the gym, putting in the overtime is paid off... I look at it like a job a little bit, it’s a blessing man and it’s a great feeling.
