I say Creighton sees if Miami will come and play a the CLink. They will be in Lincoln on December 4th for the Big 10/ACC Challenge game. They should just stay in town for an extra few days and play in Omaha on like the 7th or something. It is a "free" game for both teams. Might as well take advantage of it. It would still be in that 14-day window that is allowed so it can be part of the Anaheim deal.
Probably won't happen, but if I was scheduling, I would try to get that game scheduled. I'm sure it just takes Mac to make a phone call to Jim Larranaga to make it happen. At least that is what someone at the OWH said once.

I used to work for the double bird guy on the left. Even though some of his face is covered I know its him. He is/was kind of a big shot with one of Omaha's biggest employers. Proof that money can't buy class.

I've always been a diehard and that night was the most infuriating home game in the history of the world but what is etched in my brain is when a bottle flew at Ryan, the PA guy, as he was pleading the crowd to stop throwing bottles at the refs and on the court. Refs were atrocious and probably deserved worse.

The crowd that night was nuts -- all the frustration at three straight season-ending gut punches boiled over (2004 NIT loss to Nebraska on a last-second shot, 2005 NCAA loss to West Virginia on the block/dunk, making the final seconds of the Miami game too much to stomach for most everyone, from fans to players). Cups thrown at the officials and the opposing players, Jimmy Motz kicking one of those cups across the court, DA chasing the officials clear to their locker room, Ras allegedly getting in some choice words with the refs in the tunnel...hell, the armrest on one of my seats in 113 was wobbly for about three years after that until they finally fixed it due to me smashing it that night

Were you there that night? The refs deserved both birds and more.

Yes I was there. What does that change about the classnessless that that guy showed?
